When a few years ago started coming cloud applications many companies were concerned about these business models that made them lose some control over their data, critics so far and would be housed on third party servers. Now time has passed and it's time to ask whether Has the company lost the fear of the cloud?
I think one of the issues that has helped has
been the popularity of smartphones in the company, since one of the advantages
brought by the cloud is the ability to connect from anywhere. Thus companies
understand the benefits of the cloud outweigh its drawbacks .
Besides smartphones have brought redundant
network connections, so if you have a problem with the main line by the Mobile
still working without inconvenience. The same if we go home for any
problems before we do in the office.
But overall the company has used to
seeing the cloud as an alternative , with its advantages and
disadvantages that must be evaluated, but may be as valid for our business like
any other and helps us maintain a more or less fixed costs.
Finally, experience has shown that the loss
of control over the data has not been a problem .There were no more
stops the loss of service or data theft by bringing data into the cloud to have
them on our own servers, which are often less well protected and managed
